Back together with the dash.

These pictures show the dash going back together. The last picture is the new rudder bellcrank. I happened to have some Internation red paint that matched pretty well.

Firewall insulation and wiring.

These pictures show the new firewall blanket being installed and the new wiring going in. The brake master cylinders also got new seals and rigged the parking brake system.

A little paint sure helps.

I always forget how much work it is to paint until I do it (I'll forget again in 6 months). The windshield was very crazed, so it was coming out anyway and made the painting a whole lot easier. You can also see the new skylights being installed.

A little fixing up!

The guy who owned it flew it to Coffey County from Illinois where it went straight into the shop for some much needed TLC. These pictures show the disassembly, sanding, and a coat of self-etching primer.

Pre-buy

I bought N2496N in November of 2009. Dad and I flew a Cherokee 180 to Illinois to do the pre-buy inspection. The outside was better than I thought it might be, but the inside left very little to be desired.
